Chopstick Bowl Tutorial
Hi Welcome all
So I am going to kick off with an easy to make and amazingly beautiful Bowl made of Chopsticks made by Stephan Vigues...chopsticks can you believe it?
How to make it:
On your piece of wood, draw an 8.5 inches circle, if you have the angle cutting jigsaw, cut the circle with 30 degrees angle. If you don't have a jigsaw, you'll have to be patient and with a file, remove enough material to get the 30 degrees angle.
Once this is cut, you did the most difficult part.
Now you need to nail and stick the chopsticks all around the circle like this:
Conclusion:
An easy to do project. The nails + glue give a very sturdy creation.

Only 30 chopsticks and a piece of wood is used to make a bowl with a contemporary look.
Skill Level
Easy
Materials
3/4 inch Plywood or pallet wood
30 Chopsticks
the tiniest nail you can find
wood glue
Tools
A good jigsaw that cuts with angle, or a regular jigsaw
A file
A compass
How to make it:
On your piece of wood, draw an 8.5 inches circle, if you have the angle cutting jigsaw, cut the circle with 30 degrees angle. If you don't have a jigsaw, you'll have to be patient and with a file, remove enough material to get the 30 degrees angle.
Once this is cut, you did the most difficult part.
Now you need to nail and stick the chopsticks all around the circle like this:
Leave the equivalent of a chopstick between two chopsticks.
A trick to nail easily, is to pre-drill with a tiny drill bit
to help the nailing.
And Voila.....
Conclusion:
An easy to do project. The nails + glue give a very sturdy creation.
